Archipelago in Transition, or Echo-World

Think of a country as an island and break three countries of Georgia, Ukraine and Russia down into eight equal squares. By each time rearranging the countries horizontally and vertically with the small islands of the others, a virtual planet suddenly arises. Man's continental history dissolves, and the archipelagic history of the earth echoes back and forth between here and there, or in the past and present.
遷りゆく群島、あるいは反響- 世界
国を島と捉え、ジョージア、ウクライナ、ロシアの三国をそれぞれ均等な8マスに分解する。水平、垂直に他国の小さな島々と組み変えるごとに、仮想の惑星が立ち現れる。人間の大陸的な歴史が溶け出して、地球の群島的な歴史が、ここと彼方、あるいは過去と現在で反響しあう。
